Pada waktu orang Filistin itu bangkit maju dan mendekat menghadapi Daud dengan segera Daud berlari ke barisan musuh untuk melawan orang Filistin itu

Karena itu berbaliklah Saul dari usaha mengejar Daud dan pergi untuk menghadapi orang Filistin Itulah sebabnya tempat itu disebut Gunung Batu Keluputan
