1 Samuel 9:16

Besok pagi pada waktu seperti ini Aku akan mengirim seorang laki-laki dari tanah Benyamin kepadamu Kamu akan mengurapinya menjadi raja atas umat-Ku Israel Dia akan menyelamatkan umat-Ku dari tangan orang Filistin Sebab Aku telah memperhatikan umat-Ku Tangisan mereka telah sampai kepada-Ku

Samuel mengambil buli-buli berisi minyak dan menuangkannya ke atas kepala Saul Dia menciumnya dan berkata Bukankah TUHAN yang mengurapi kamu menjadi raja atas milik pusaka-Nya

Apabila TUHAN melakukan kepada tuanku segala kebaikan yang telah difirmankan-Nya kepadamu serta menunjuk engkau menjadi raja atas Israel

Daud menjawab Mikhal Di hadapan TUHAN yang telah memilih aku atas ayahmu dan seluruh keluarganya dan menunjuk aku menjadi raja atas umat TUHAN yaitu atas Israel Aku menari-nari di hadapan TUHAN

Daniel 11:22

Seluruh pasukan yang datang melanda akan disapu habis dan dihancurkan dari hadapannya bahkan juga seorang raja perjanjian
