Keesokan harinya Saul membagi rakyat menjadi tiga pasukan Mereka masuk ke tengah-tengah perkemahan pada waktu pagi dan mengalahkan orang-orang Amon sebelum hari menjadi panas Tercerai-berailah orang-orang yang tersisa sehingga tidak ada dua orang yang masih tinggal bersama
