Daud tidak membiarkan hidup baik laki-laki maupun perempuan untuk dibawa ke Gat sebab pikirnya Jangan-jangan mereka memberitahukan tentang kami dengan berkata Inilah yang diperbuat Daud Itulah kebiasaannya selama dia tinggal di daerah orang Filistin
