1 Kings 8:13

Sesungguhnya Aku telah membangun bait maha tinggi tempat Engkau bersemayam selama-lamanya

AV: I have surely <01129> (8800) built <01129> (8804) thee an house <01004> to dwell in <02073>, a settled place <04349> for thee to abide in <03427> (8800) for ever <05769>.

1 Kings 8:27

Namun sungguhkah Allah akan bersemayam di bumi Lihatlah langit bahkan langit di atas langit pun tidak akan dapat menampung Engkau apalagi bait yang kubangun ini

Engkau akan mendengarnya di surga tempat Engkau bersemayam Engkau akan mengampuni bertindak dan membalas setiap orang sesuai dengan segala jalan hidupnya yang Engkau ketahui hatinya karena Engkau sendirilah yang mengenal hati setiap anak manusia

Engkau akan mendengarnya di surga tempat-Mu bersemayam Engkau akan melakukan segala yang orang asing itu serukan kepada-Mu supaya seluruh bangsa di bumi mengenal nama-Mu dan takut akan Engkau seperti umat-Mu Israel serta mengetahui bahwa nama-Mu diserukan di bait yang aku bangun ini

dengarkanlah doa dan permohonan mereka di surga tempat Engkau bersemayam serta melakukan keadilan bagi mereka

Namun TUHAN bersemayam selama-lamanya Dia telah mendirikan takhta-Nya untuk penghakiman
