Dia menyingkirkan kuda-kuda yang dipersembahkan oleh raja-raja Yehuda untuk dewa matahari di pintu masuk Bait TUHAN yaitu di dekat kamar Natan-Melekh sida-sida yang tinggal di pinggir kota Dia juga membakar kereta-kereta bagi dewa matahari dengan api

Namun Ratu Wasti menolak untuk datang memenuhi perintah raja yang disampaikan oleh para sida-sida itu sehingga raja sangat murka dan kemarahannya menyala-nyala dalam dirinya
